EVO 2022

After 2 long years of virtual competitions, Evolution Championship Series (EVO) finally made a triumphant return to an in-person format at Mandalay Bay and Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas. Waveform staff were integrally involved with the event as a whole, assisting with the planning and pre-production from EVO 2022’s inception, combining the staff’s AVL knowledge, broadcast skillset, and live production abilities to help put on and broadcast the biggest fighting championship in the world. On the production side, Waveform designed and built the massive mainstage for the Sunday finals in the Michelob ULTRA Arena and the side stages within the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Waveform staff also assisted with the broadcast for the Arena stages and both broadcast graphics and operators as the broadcast partner for Warner Brothers’ new platform fighter, Multiversus.
